Associate Product Manager - Co-op Student

Loblaw Digital est l’équipe responsable de la construction et de l’exploitation des activités numériques pour le plus grand et le plus prospère détaillant au Canada. Nous créons des solutions de commerce électronique de pointe réactives, dont le site Cliquez et ramassez de Loblaws, qui offre une expérience de courses alimentaires en ligne novatrice. Nous avons également mis au point, et exploitons maintenant, le site primé JoeFresh.com, ainsi que l’application pour iPad et iPhone. The pay range for the co-op student role will reflect factors such as the candidate's experience, academic level, and the specific skillset required for the role.

Loblaw has adopted the following hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues can work remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit).

The impact you’ll make:

As an Associate Product Manager on our eCommerce team, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside design and engineering experts to develop and launch AI-powered features. Your work will directly enhance the customer experience across our largest digital platforms, including Online Grocery, Shoppers Drug Mart, and Joe Fresh. What You'll Do:

  • Work with Product Designers and Engineering to help shape the upcoming sprints and larger product roadmap
  • Support product backlog - including daily prioritization, grooming, writing user stories and helping keep the dev team unblocked
  • Assist in product discovery to validate new ideas and start framing new features and their prioritization
  • Use analytics to make key product decisions
  • Participate in collecting feedback from users and translating these findings into product ideas

  • You have a customer first approach to building products, leveraging research and data paired with empathy to build experiences that create customer stickiness
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
  • You are obsessed with testing and experimentation is a core pillar of how you approach product development – aka you aren’t happy unless you’ve learned something after shipping
  • You’ve got a growth mindset – you know there’s always a better way to do things and are willing to disrupt yourself or the status quo

What You'll Need:

  • Experience working closely with Engineering, Data Science & other business functions.
  • Some experience in product management / software development
  • Understanding of lean startup
  • Understanding of agile (scrum/kanban)
  • Understanding of Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
  • Ability to work independently and sift through ambiguity
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skill
