The impact you’ll make

As the Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and fostering collaboration between Advance and key strategic industry partners. Your primary responsibility will be to identify technological innovations that align with our roadmap and work with our partners to bring innovations to life while extracting the most value back to the business with our significant spends.  By building strong relationships with partners and staying abreast of technology trends, you will position yourself as a thought-leader and contribute to solving strategic and operational challenges faced by our businesses.

What you’ll do

  • Develop relationships with senior level stakeholders across the industry to ensure we move quickly on new shared opportunities
  • Stay updated on technology innovations, synthesize findings, and share insights with business leaders
  • Identify and meet with prospective strategic partners
  • Collaborate with enterprise stakeholders to identify potential opportunities for external strategic partnerships, acting as the main point of contact for privacy, legal, product, and procurement teams
  • Drive the development and implementation of new products, selling models, and measurement solutions in collaboration with our partners
  • Help evaluate, drive decisions on, and launch new partnerships from idea to POC, including developing business cases, detailed financial models, and project plans
  • Create memos that effectively communicate the business rationale for new partnerships or provide updates on existing partnerships
  • Develop business cases and detailed financial models for prospective partnerships
  • Support negotiations with potential partners to maximize the success of the partnership and benefit to the company
  • Manage ongoing relationship with established partners, while tracking the progress, impact, and key learnings from these partnerships
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes exemplary service, quality, innovation, and teamwork
  • Lead communication with leadership on value of partnership, risks and opportunities

Does this sound like you?

  • 10 years in media planning, account, or campaign management (CPG, Retail experience an asset)
  • Proven track record in client services, managing accounts with a value of $1M or more 
  • Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in a related field such as Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or Advertising
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing omnichannel media plans, with measurable outcomes 
  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in business development/partnership management
  • Experience in contract management and negotiations
  • Strong financial analysis, modeling, storytelling, and presentation-building skills, with the ability to provide recommendations and highlight financial implications 
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas effectively
  • Able to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; able to effectively communicate issues, actively engage and influence and work collaboratively as a team member
